Synopsis
StageFright (1987) follows a group of actors rehearsing a musical about a serial murderer when they become trapped overnight in the theater with a real escaped killer. As doors are sealed and tensions rise among the ensemble, the masked assailant eliminates performers one by one using stage props and backstage corridors. This Italian horror film blends slasher mechanics and theatrical self reflexivity in a stylized chamber of performance and panic.
