Not since “King Kong” has the screen exploded with such mighty fury and spectacle!
Konga (1961) follows an ambitious botanist whose attempt to transplant a mysterious African plant serum into a chimpanzee leads to the creature’s grotesque transformation into a giant, rampaging ape. As the creature grows monstrously large and violent, the scientist’s obsession with control and scientific hubris spirals into destruction across London’s streets. This science-fiction horror blends creature-feature spectacle and cautionary science in a towering tale of unintended monstrosity.
