Film Synopsis
Black Zoo (1963) centers on a fanatical zoo owner whose obsessive devotion to his animals takes a murderous turn when he uses them to eliminate anyone who stands in his way. As his violence escalates, his increasingly controlling behavior threatens those closest to him and exposes the disturbing extent of his obsession. This horror film combines killer-animal thrills, domestic menace, and bizarre ritualistic elements with colorful widescreen photography and a macabre sense of theatricality.
