Film Synopsis
Doctor Blood’s Coffin (1961) centers on a young doctor who returns to his Cornish home and secretly continues experiments intended to restore life to the dead. As local men mysteriously disappear, his increasingly dangerous research reveals a belief that he can decide who is worthy of life. This British horror film combines mad-scientist conventions, medical experimentation, and atmospheric rural locations with unexpectedly graphic imagery for an early-1960s production.
