Film Synopsis
Blue Eyes of the Broken Doll (1974) follows an ex-convict named Gilles who arrives in a French village seeking work and is taken on as a handyman at the secluded estate of three very unusual sisters. Not long after he settles into the job, a serial killer begins slaughtering blonde, blue-eyed women in the area and removing their eyes, leading local police and residents to suspect Gilles because of his criminal past. As suspicion and fear mount, eerie events around the mansion and multiple red herrings complicate the mystery before a shocking truth emerges.

- Scream Factory’s Blu-ray includes a 24-page booklet with writing by Mirek Lipinski (“Paul Naschy”). It is included in “The Paul Naschy Collection” box set with Horror Rises from the Tomb (1973), Vengeance of the Zombies (1973), Human Beasts (1980) and Night of the Werewolf (1981).
- BCI’s “Special Edition” DVD includes a 6-page booklet with writing by Marek Lipinski. It is also available in the “The Paul Naschy Collection” box set and as a “Double Feature” with Human Beasts (1980).
