Synopsis
Human Beasts (1980) starts with a ruthless criminal on the run after betraying the gang that hired him and taking a bag of diamonds, only to be gravely wounded while trying to escape his pursuers. He is rescued and cared for by a seemingly kind couple in a remote mansion, but as he recovers the atmosphere around him grows strange, with bizarre visions, unexpected violence and hidden motives emerging in the household. The film evolves from a crime drama into a horror thriller built on suspicion, betrayal and escalating terror.
