Stare into these eyes… discover deep within them the unspeakable terrifying secret of “Black Sunday”… it will paralyze you with fright!
Synopsis
Black Sunday (1960) centers on a vampire-witch executed in seventeenth-century Moldavia whose resurrection is accidentally triggered when two travelers enter her crypt generations later. As she attempts to possess the body of a noblewoman who resembles her and her undead servant begins carrying out acts of violence across the countryside, local authorities and a visiting doctor struggle to stop the spreading curse before more victims fall under her influence. This Italian gothic horror film examines supernatural vengeance and corrupted lineage within a decaying aristocratic world, as fear begins to overtake reason, with witchcraft, vampirism, and ancestral doom.
