Film Synopsis

Hatchet for the Honeymoon (1970) centers on the owner of a successful bridal fashion house whose outwardly respectable life conceals a pattern of ritualistic murders targeting young brides. As each killing brings fragmented memories of a traumatic childhood closer to the surface while suspicions begin mounting within his household and business, his search for the truth behind his obsession becomes increasingly dangerous. This Italian-Spanish giallo horror film examines guilt and psychological fixation within a world where reality and the supernatural gradually intersect, as fear begins to overtake reason, with murder, repressed memory, and obsessive compulsion.
