Say goodnight to Auntie Roo, kiddies… it’s dead time
Whoever Slew Auntie Roo? (1972) follows a reclusive widow who invites orphaned children to her mansion during the Christmas season. When she becomes fixated on a young girl resembling her deceased child, she attempts to keep the girl with her permanently. This British horror film blends gothic atmosphere, grief-driven obsession, and fairy-tale menace while examining loneliness, denial, and psychological instability.
