You may not believe in ghosts, but you cannot deny terror!
Synopsis
The Haunting (1963) centers on a psychologist who invites a small group of guests to stay at the isolated Hill House in order to document evidence of paranormal activity. As unexplained sounds, psychological disturbances, and increasingly personal manifestations intensify throughout the mansion while one emotionally fragile participant becomes deeply affected by the house’s oppressive influence, fear and instability steadily consume the investigation. This British supernatural horror film examines isolation and psychological vulnerability within a decaying gothic environment, as fear begins to overtake reason, with haunted spaces, emotional repression, and supernatural dread.
