The Innocents (1961) follows a young governess hired to care for two orphaned children at an isolated English country house where she begins to sense an unsettling presence. This British psychological horror film blends Gothic atmosphere, ambiguity, and supernatural dread in a haunting exploration of innocence, repression, and possession.
