Film Synopsis
Terror (1978) follows the members of a modern family whose ancestors once burned a woman accused of witchcraft, only to have her curse return generations later. After a horror filmmaker screens a movie based on his own family history, supernatural events and grisly deaths start to unfold among his friends and relatives. This British horror film blends occult curse elements with a series of violent set pieces and eerie atmospherics.

Edition and Packaging Notes
- Indicator’s Blu-ray is included in the “Bloody Terror: The Shocking Cinema of Norman J. Warren, 1976-1987” box set with Satan’s Slave (1976), Prey (1977), Inseminoid (1981) and Bloody New Year (1987). It contains a 120-page booklet with writing by Adrian Smith (“The Horror Cinema of Norman J. Warren”), a double-sided fold-out poster (“Terror”, “Inseminoid”), and five lobby card reproductions for “Satan’s Slave”. Reissued individually (2021/08/30).
- Scorpion’s DVD also includes The Devil’s Men (Land of the Minotaur, 1976).
- Mill Creek’s DVD contains no extras. It is included in the “Gorehouse Greats Collection” box set with The Devil’s Hand (1962), The Madmen of Mandoras (1963), Terrified (1963), Blood of Dracula’s Castle (1969), Nightmare in Wax (1969), Blood Mania (1970), Stanley (1972), Trip with the Teacher (1975), Satan’s Slave (1976), Prime Evil (1988) and Brain Twisters (1991).
