Women caged like animals… living only for the pleasure of their keepers!
Synopsis
Exorcism’s Daughter (1971) centers on a young woman living under the shadow of a traumatic past shaped by religious obsession and emotional instability. As disturbing memories, unexplained incidents, and increasingly erratic behavior intensify around her while questions of possession, inherited madness, and spiritual corruption emerge from her family’s history, the boundary between reality and delusion becomes increasingly uncertain. This Spanish psychological horror film examines repression and mental deterioration within an atmosphere of gothic unease, as fear begins to overtake reason, with religious fanaticism, family trauma, and psychological ambiguity.
