Crucible of Horror (1971) follows an aging artist who rules his household through humiliation and control, driving his wife and children toward desperate thoughts of escape and revenge. As tensions fracture the veneer of domestic order, suspicion and paranoia seep into every shadowed corridor of the estate. This psychological horror film blends gothic decay and familial cruelty in a grim study of repression and retribution.
