Film Synopsis
Crucible of Horror (1971) centers on a mother and daughter living under the control of an abusive and sadistic family patriarch. Driven to murder him after his cruelty escalates, they find their plan giving way to disturbing uncertainty when events refuse to unfold as expected. This British psychological horror film combines domestic oppression, mounting paranoia, and claustrophobic tension in a bleak portrait of violence and control within the family.
