Film Synopsis

Alien 2: On Earth (1980) centers on a team of spelunkers investigating strange mineral formations inside a vast underground cave system shortly after a space capsule crashes back to Earth with its crew missing. As members of the expedition begin suffering violent mutations and attacks from parasitic alien organisms concealed within the cavern, panic and mistrust spread through the isolated group while survivors struggle to escape the underground labyrinth. This Italian science fiction horror film examines contamination and survival within a claustrophobic subterranean environment, as fear begins to overtake reason, with extraterrestrial infection, bodily mutation, and apocalyptic paranoia.
