The savage revenge of a young bride ravaged on her wedding night!
A young bride, disturbed by nightmares and a growing unease in her new home, discovers a mysterious woman hidden on the estate. As her relationship with the stranger deepens, she’s drawn into a seductive and violent bond rooted in vengeance and repressed desires. The line between love and bloodlust dissolves in this modern reimagining of Carmilla.

Blood is a lesbian fantasy that tries to have it both ways. It wants to be aggressively feminist with its stance that the violent rape dreams are only due to mistrust of men, but then, in its conclusion, which involves a casket and an embrace, it is the man who puts a stop to the ruckus. Best to put aside the politics of this and to concentrate on [Maribel] Martin losing her mind as well as her soul. It’s a vampire movie, so the blood is plentiful and the nudity abundant.
