Shock

aka Schock; Beyond the Door II

Poster of Shock

Terror lives beyond the door…

Shock (1977) follows a woman who returns to her family home with her young son, only to be haunted by terrifying visions and the lingering presence of her dead husband. As her sanity unravels, supernatural forces and buried trauma blur the line between reality and possession. This psychological horror blends domestic unease and ghostly dread in Mario Bava’s chilling final feature, co-directed with his son Lamberto Bava.
