Film Synopsis
War-Gods of the Deep (1965) follows a mining engineer and an American tourist who are swept into an ancient undersea city ruled by a tyrannical Captain. As they uncover the truth about the city’s failing volcanic power source and the Captain’s increasingly erratic control, their struggle to escape grows more desperate. This gothic sci-fi adventure blends mystery, claustrophobic tension, and fantastical world-building in a tale of decaying power and doomed ambition.
