Film Synopsis
At the Earth’s Core (1976) follows an inventor who develops a drilling machine capable of tunneling deep beneath the Earth’s surface. When he and a young financier test the device, they unexpectedly break through into a vast underground world inhabited by prehistoric creatures and strange civilizations. This British science fiction adventure film blends subterranean fantasy, monster spectacle, and pulp adventure in a classic lost-world adventure.
