A stranger in a town that has lost its mind… If she’s not careful, she may lose her’s too!
The Witches (1966) follows a traumatized schoolteacher who, after recovering from a nervous breakdown, accepts a post in a quiet English village—only to discover that its residents are hiding sinister secrets. As she begins to suspect witchcraft and ritualistic forces at work, her sanity and safety are once again pushed to the brink. This chilling psychological horror combines rural mystery, occult intrigue, and Hammer’s trademark atmosphere of creeping dread.
