Film Synopsis
Rasputin: The Mad Monk (1966) follows the rise of a fanatical monk whose hypnotic powers and unholy charisma gain him dangerous influence over Russia’s royal court. His lust for power and cruelty drive him into conflict with those who seek to stop his reign of corruption and madness. This Hammer horror-drama mixes historical intrigue with gothic atmosphere and psychological menace.
