Film Synopsis
The Man Is Armed (1956) centers on a truck driver released from prison after being framed for smuggling and determined to settle the score with the man he believes responsible. His search for answers leads to a dangerous confrontation and the discovery of a criminal scheme involving his former employer and an armored-truck robbery. This film noir builds its compact crime story around betrayal and resentment, drawing an embittered ex-convict deeper into the criminal world as his efforts to reclaim his life steadily narrow his choices.
