Film Synopsis
The Great Train Robbery (1941) centers on a railroad detective whose criminal brother becomes involved in a scheme to steal a valuable shipment of gold. As the robbery unfolds, the detective must contend with the gang while suspicion surrounding his own actions complicates his efforts to stop them. This crime drama builds its compact story around brothers on opposite sides of the law, using the train robbery to create a conflict between family loyalty, criminal ambition, and duty.
