Synopsis
The Invasion of Carol Enders (1974) centers on a young woman recovering in a hospital after an assault when the spirit of a recently murdered patient begins taking control of her body. As the dead woman’s husband and fiancé investigate the increasingly disturbing behavior surrounding the possession and hidden details about the murder begin surfacing, the woman at the center of the ordeal struggles against the invading personality overtaking her identity. This television supernatural thriller examines possession and psychological instability within a medically controlled environment, as fear begins to overtake reason, with spiritual intrusion, identity erosion, and concealed murder.
