Synopsis
Shadow of Fear (1974) centers on the wife of a powerful industrialist who returns to her estate to discover signs of vandalism and threatening messages connected to unknown intruders. As her husband hires a former police officer to investigate the escalating disturbances and suspicions of conspiracy begin spreading through the household, uncertainty grows around both the source of the threats and the woman’s increasingly fragile state of mind. This television psychological thriller examines paranoia and domestic instability within an atmosphere of concealed menace, as fear begins to overtake reason, with emotional coercion, mistrust, and psychological manipulation.
