Film Synopsis
The Devil-Ship Pirates (1964) centers on the ruthless captain of a damaged Spanish privateer who occupies an isolated English coastal village after persuading its residents that the Spanish Armada has won the war. As the deception begins to unravel and unrest spreads among the villagers, a determined resistance threatens the crew’s plan to repair their ship and escape before English forces arrive. This British swashbuckler blends historical adventure, action, and pirate spectacle as courage, deception, and the struggle for freedom shape a tense conflict between ordinary villagers and ruthless invaders.
