Film Synopsis
The Abominable Snowman (1957) centers on a British botanist who joins an experienced mountaineer’s expedition into the Himalayas to investigate reports of the elusive Yeti. As conflicting ambitions and mounting dangers place the team at odds with one another, the search challenges both their understanding of the mysterious creature and the limits of human ambition. This British science fiction horror film blends psychological suspense, adventure, and monster cinema as curiosity, greed, and respect for the unknown shape an intelligent exploration of one of mythology’s most enduring legends.
