Film Synopsis
Mau Mau Sex Sex (2001) explores the careers of exploitation pioneers Dan Sonney and David F. Friedman and their decades working outside mainstream Hollywood. Through interviews, reminiscences, and vintage film clips, it traces their experiences with nudist pictures, sexploitation, roughies, and other sensational entertainment while revealing the promotional ingenuity behind the business. This documentary offers an affectionate and humorous portrait of two veteran showmen whose resourcefulness and appetite for taboo helped shape American exploitation cinema.
