Film Synopsis
That’s Sexploitation! (2013) explores the history and evolution of American sexploitation cinema from the 1920s through the 1960s. Narration by Frank Henenlotter and recollections from exploitation producer David F. Friedman accompany extensive archival clips tracing stag films, sex-hygiene pictures, nudie cuties, roughies, and other forms of erotic entertainment. This documentary combines exploitation history with a vast visual archive, examining the showmanship, shifting boundaries, and changing screen conventions that shaped decades of sexploitation filmmaking.
