Film Synopsis

Often thought of as a poor man’s The Curse of the Werewolf, it is better than such an assessment suggests. … Directed by Freddie Francis and scripted by Anthony Hinds (John Elder), the Hammer comparisons are understandable … The werewolf makeup is nothing special, but effective none the less, and the climax … is surprisingly bloody, while the final confrontation is really quite heartfelt.
