Film Synopsis
Bummer (1973) centers on a struggling Los Angeles rock band whose hopes for greater success lead the musicians and several groupies onto the road. Tensions intensify as their drunken and aggressive bass player becomes an increasingly dangerous presence, threatening those around him as the tour progresses. This exploitation drama combines rock culture, sexual menace, violence, and countercultural disillusionment with the seedy atmosphere of early 1970s independent cinema.
