Synopsis
Me, a Groupie (1970) follows an English girl who, after a passionate night with a rock singer she meets at an outdoor concert, becomes determined to follow him across Europe and win his love. As she and her friend travel from London through Amsterdam and Switzerland, their journey leads them into open-ended sexual encounters, drug use, smuggling schemes and encounters with biker crowds and underground subcultures. Her pursuit of romance and freedom ultimately turns into a tragic descent through excess and danger in an evocative snapshot of early 1970s youth culture.
