Film Synopsis
The Swinging Cheerleaders (1974) depicts a university student’s attempt to investigate the exploitation of women by joining the campus cheerleading squad. Her involvement with a football player complicates relations with her teammates as she finds evidence of a betting scheme. This campus comedy-drama interweaves sexual humour with coercive relationships and athletic corruption, shifting from dormitory rivalries to an investigation that threatens the football programme.
