Film Synopsis
The Female Bunch (1971) centers on a Las Vegas waitress who is introduced to a group of women living apart from society on a remote desert ranch. After undergoing their initiation, she joins their freewheeling existence but grows increasingly uneasy as drug smuggling and violence become part of life with the group. This crime drama combines female outlaw imagery with a contemporary Western setting, using its desert landscapes and exploitation sensibility for a rough-edged portrait of rebellion, lawlessness, and disillusionment.
