It comes back at you again and again!
Synopsis
Boomerang! (1947) follows a conscientious state’s attorney who takes on a politically charged case after a respected clergyman is murdered and a suspect is swiftly arrested. As public outrage intensifies and officials push for a quick conviction, conflicting evidence and procedural doubts emerge, placing him at odds with entrenched interests and tightening control around the case. This crime drama blends procedural detail, restrained tension, and semi-documentary realism in an examination of justice under pressure and institutional influence.
