Film Synopsis
I Wake Up Screaming (1941) follows a sports promoter who becomes the prime suspect in the murder of a young woman he helped usher into fame. As he fights to clear his name, a relentless detective closes in and hidden jealousies, secrets, and obsessions emerge from every corner of the case. This early film noir blends shadowy suspense, romantic entanglement, and psychological tension in a dark tale of ambition and fixation.
