Bloodbath (1975) follows a group of disillusioned American and British expatriates living in isolation in a remote Spanish coastal village. As a strange religious cult of young outsiders arrives and unsettling visions and violent incidents begin occurring, the expatriates descend into paranoia, hallucination, and self-destruction. This Spanish-Liechtenstein psychological horror film blends surreal imagery, countercultural decay, and cult paranoia while examining alienation, spiritual emptiness, and the collapse of identity.
