Film Synopsis
Blithe Spirit (1945) portrays a successful novelist who invites an eccentric medium to conduct a séance for research. When the ghost of his first wife unexpectedly appears and refuses to depart, her mischievous presence creates growing tension between the writer, his current wife, and the spirited visitor from the past. This British supernatural comedy blends Noël Coward’s sharp wit with ghostly farce, transforming an ordinary marriage into an increasingly absurd battle between the living and the dead.
