Hungrily, he watched her walk down the street… and then he squeezed the trigger!
Film Synopsis
The Sniper (1952) depicts a tormented San Francisco man whose hostility toward women erupts into a series of sniper attacks. While the gunman struggles with impulses he cannot control, a police lieutenant turns to psychiatric guidance in an effort to identify him before he strikes again. This psychological film noir alternates between the killer and the investigation, using San Francisco location photography to make the city’s rooftops and steep streets part of the pursuit.
