Film Synopsis
Targets (1968) portrays an ageing Los Angeles horror star who decides to retire because he believes his films cannot compete with the violence of everyday life. While he prepares for a final promotional appearance, a seemingly ordinary young man begins shooting strangers across the city. This psychological thriller alternates between Hollywood conversations and methodically staged attacks, contrasting familiar screen monsters with the threat of an unremarkable-looking killer.
