Witness in the City (1959) follows a man who murders his wife’s lover by throwing him from a moving train, only to be pursued by a determined taxi driver who witnessed the crime. As the killer tries to silence his pursuer, a tense cat-and-mouse chase unfolds through the nocturnal streets of Paris. This moody French noir blends suspense, revenge, and urban atmosphere in a gripping tale of guilt and pursuit.
