Film Synopsis
Trapped by Fear (1960) follows a Parisian reporter and ex-paratrooper who shelters his war-comrade after the man kills a policeman during a car theft. The reporter’s casual lifestyle of girls, cars and gadgets is shaken when his friend goes into hiding, the reporter falls in love, and he must decide between romance and loyalty. This French drama blends post-war malaise, male camaraderie and the distractions of youth in a shifting society.
