Synopsis
Back to the Wall (1958) tells the story of a wealthy industrialist who discovers his wife’s affair and devises an elaborate blackmail scheme to expose her lover. When the plan spirals out of control, deceit and guilt tighten into a deadly trap from which no one can escape unscathed. This taut French psychological thriller blends suspense, passion, and moral ambiguity in a web of crime and retribution.
