Synopsis
Razzia sur la chnouf (1955) follows a seasoned operator in postwar Paris who, recruited by the head of a major narcotics ring to overhaul a faltering drug distribution network, uses his cover managing a back-street bar to penetrate every echelon of the underworld. As he methodically dismantles weak links and faces intensifying police scrutiny, tensions between criminal discipline and law enforcement escalate toward a reckoning that questions loyalty and deception. This French crime drama blends gritty underworld realism and noir-tinged tension in a stark exploration of organized vice and infiltration.
