Film Synopsis
The Terrornauts (1967) centers on a small research team operating a radio telescope project dedicated to detecting signals from intelligent life beyond Earth. As they receive an unexpected transmission from deep space while a mysterious spacecraft transports them to an alien outpost hidden on an asteroid, they are subjected to a series of tests that reveal an impending extraterrestrial threat to Earth. This British science-fiction film examines exploration and cooperation within a world of cosmic mystery, as ordinary scientists become humanity’s last line of defense against an interstellar invasion, with alien technology, space adventure, and speculative science.
