Film Synopsis
The Price of Fear (1956) portrays a successful racetrack owner whose life is thrown into turmoil after gangsters frame him for the murder of his former business partner. As a desperate woman’s attempt to conceal a fatal accident draws him deeper into a second criminal investigation, he must stay one step ahead of both the police and the underworld determined to eliminate him. The film draws on film noir, crime drama, and suspense to explore wrongful accusation, deception, and the devastating consequences of becoming trapped in a web of criminal manipulation.
