The Female Animal (1958) follows aging Hollywood star Vanessa Windsor, who becomes infatuated with a young studio extra and invites him into her secluded hillside home. As her troubled adopted daughter also pursues the man, tensions build in a spiraling clash of desire, insecurity, and emotional manipulation. This glossy melodrama blends romantic turmoil, psychological strain, and studio-era glamour in a volatile portrait of love and obsession.
