Ladd meets murder in the mysterious Orient!
Synopsis
Calcutta (1946) follows two cargo pilots whose routine flights between Chungking and Calcutta shatter when their close friend is found murdered, prompting them to investigate his death and the hidden reasons behind it. As clues draw them through smoky nightclubs, clandestine deals, and seductive suspicions, they uncover a smuggling racket and personal entanglements that blur the lines between guilt and innocence. This crime drama blends noir-tilted mystery and postwar danger in a tense study of loyalty, deception, and peril.
