Film Synopsis
The Maltese Falcon (1931) centers on a San Francisco private detective whose seemingly routine assignment takes a deadly turn when his partner is murdered. As a deceptive client and several scheming figures compete for a valuable falcon statuette, he navigates conflicting stories and police suspicion while pursuing his own interests in the case.
