Film Synopsis
Satan Met a Lady (1936) centers on a private detective hired by a mysterious woman to locate a man she claims has jilted her. When his partner and the man being followed are murdered, he becomes a suspect while a collection of scheming characters draws him into the search for a legendary ram’s horn filled with jewels. This mystery comedy plays its tangled detective story for eccentric humor, using double-crosses, wisecracking characters, and an elusive treasure to create an irreverent variation on the private-eye mystery.
